There's a "sage-support" list where this would be more appropriate. I think the problem can be traced to this line: > sh: gcc: command not found Have you installed Apple's Developer Tools? They are not installed by default, but they should be on the installation CD that came with your system. If you don't have it, you can get the tools from Apple (it may require (free) registration as an Apple developer). Visit <http://developer.apple.com> and look for Xcode. You don't mention what version of Mac OS X you are running, but be aware that for different (major) versions of the OS, you will probably need different versions of Xcode. HTH Justin -- Justin C.
