Indeed!

Just one thing: there is already some plotting support in the
root/weight lattice which is very similar in purpose. Please make sure
to factor out as much as possible between the two implementations!

By the way: the current Sage code is a partial port of what I had
implemented in MuPAD which could produce both 2d and 3d plots and
latex:
