It should be mentioned as well that there is a closely related tool TransitiveIdeal (and TransitiveIdealGraded) which takes similar input, but handles recursions where each element can be built in several ways, so an duplicate elimination must occur. In other words this is making a search through a graph instead of a tree. This tool deserves renaming too, and it would be good to actually have a single entry point for both tools. This naming problem was actually raised quite some time ago [1]. In fact, I remember discussing this with Rob Beezer at Sage Days 15 when he was reviewing #6000, and I thought we had come up with a good naming scheme, but alas I just can't remember it.
