Please post a link to the preferably compressed full install.log.
There is no point in debugging this problem via email ;)
A couple questions:
* Is this an upgrade or a new install?
* In case of an upgrade: From which version initially? What was the
last version?
* In case of an upgrade: Did you upgrade from a binary? In that case
which one?
* Did any previous version of Sage compile on that box? Which one was
the latest?
* Did you upgrade compilers in the meantime?
* What does "env" look like
Neither Google nor I have ever heard of a symbol `.MASF71', so this
ought to be interesting.
