Dear Sage team, when i tried to install the optional polymake package, it failed since apparently it needed cddlib-094b.p1 It was not present on my machine, and (worse) it could not be downloaded from sagemath. The (close to) final words of the polymake install were:
********************************************************************** * Unable to download cddlib-094b.p1 * Please see http://www.sagemath.org//packages for a list of valid * packages or check the package name. ********************************************************************** sage: Failed to download package cddlib-094b.p1 from http://www.sagemath.org/ tar: /home/king/SAGE/devel/sage-3.1.1/spkg/standard/ cddlib-094b.p1.spkg: Kann open nicht ausführen.: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden (The latter means "Can't execute open: File or folder not found") Now i wonder how other people succeeded with the polymake install. Is the fault really on the side of sagemath, or is something wrong on my machine: Linux mpc739 2.6.18.8-0.3-default #1 SMP Tue Apr 17 08:42:35 UTC 2007 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3700+ gcc (GCC) 4.1.2 20061115 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux) Cheers Simon --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to sage-devel@googlegroups.com To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel URLs: http://www.sagemath.org -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
