On OS X 10.5.8 with GCC 4.0.1, I ran the following commands

$ SAGE64=yes
$ export SAGE64
$ make

prior to building these versions of Sage: 4.0, 4.0.1, 4.0.2, 4.1,
4.1.1. They all failed to compile due to problems building R. Mirrors
of the Sage master server provide binaries for 64-bit OS X, so I'm
curious how those binaries were built. Am I missing some instructions,
commands, or environment variables?
