I think that is doomed. The license conditions on Wolfram|Alpha make such a thing impossible to do legally. There was a discussion on the Mathematica newsgroup about this some time ago. I think they have an API, but I believe you need to pay for it. I can't be bothered to look at all their docs, but linking to them in some way is not a good idea.
