I get the following error message while trying to install the macaulay2 experimental package on Mac OS X
sage: An error occurred while installing macaulay2-1.1-r7221.p0 This seems to be the problem: configure: error: automatic building of libraries disabled, but some must be built and it appears to be coming from the M2 configure script. Host system (I am running Mac OS X Leopard) uname -a: Darwin ATs-MacBook-3.local 9.8.0 Darwin Kernel Version 9.8.0: Wed Jul 15 16:55:01 PDT 2009; root:xnu-1228.15.4~1/RELEASE_I386 i386 Any suggestions?
