I just want to point out the discussion about "toydist", a new framework 
for distributing python software.  The discussion seems to be 
simultaneously happening on scipy-dev, matplotlib-dev, and 
numpy-discussion (the original message was posted to several lists, and 
those several lists seem to have discussions going on):
