I think you know this already, but it doesn't hurt to explicitly say
so here. The commit must be on one line. That is, when/if your patch
is committed (in your name), only the line

would be picked up as the commit message. Everything else from there
to the diff would be ignored.
No, the first line shows up in "short" logs, but the rest of the
