Wow, exactly this thread pops up on sage-devel quite a lot.  We need

I use EMACS.

No, though some people use sage-mode, which is nice and requires more work:

Emacs is awesome in infinitely many ways.

Lack of something like XCode's "codesense", maybe.  Syntax
highlighting can be buggy.
