This page [2] contains some ideas on getting the port moving; see the sections "Porting" and "Portable C99 libm". As far as I know, the Sage build farm currently doesn't have FreeBSD running. However, if you are a contributor to a free open source project you can apply for an account on the GCC Compile Farm [3], which has a FreeBSD machine. > and is there someone coordinating this effort? The FreeBSD port has been stalling for many months now. The Sage contributors who know how to work on the port, e.g. Peter Jeremy, Mike Hansen, etc., simply don't have the time to work on it.
