Ease of workflow.

Every now and then, the upstream src is updated. At best, you just
replace the old /src/ with the new contents (deleting again unwanted
pdfs and such, as William noted --- this should be documented in each
spkg.txt description, if necessary), and tadah, you're already done.
Sometimes, patches have to be rebased, or new ones are needed, or old
ones are obsolete. But still then, you can concentrate on just these.
