A Sage package for hyperplane arrangements passing all tests and with 100%
coverage has just been posted to the trac (#14789). The original
motivation was to create the perfect companion to Richard Stanley's PCMI
notes on hyperplane arrangements (
http://math.mit.edu/~rstan/arrangements/arr.htm<http://math.mit.edu/~rstan/arrangements/arr.html>
l). Anyone interested in giving it a test run without making a clone,
etc., could download the file
http://www.reed.edu/~davidp/hyperplane_arrangement.py then, at the command
line, run

sage: %runfile path-to-download/hyperplane_arrangement.py

(or %load path-to-download/hyperplane_arrangement.py in the Sage cloud).

The beginning of the file has lots of examples. Here is a minimal
screenshot: http://www.reed.edu/~davidp/hyp_screenshot.png. Please feel
free to write with any comments or suggestions.

Thanks,
Dave
