Right; I can do all that but it's a little too....involved.  I don't
want to think about it until and unless something is wrong (which, if
it's quite frequent, is fine, but not until or unless).

If noting else, I could probably write a little script that queries
the server and e-mails me when whatever conditions I care about are
satisfied.  Though might like to also have a health check on my
patchbot itself.
