In order to keep distributions happy, I managed to do the PARI upgrade
in such a way that compatibility with PARI-2.9.3 will remain.
I specifically created a new ticket
https://trac.sagemath.org/ticket/23796 for this. After this ticket, the
only doctest failures with PARI master are in
