Thank you for your email! I think this is a great idea. Things like the "tutorial" or "constructions/cookbook" (or a suitable subset of them) might need to be translated into French as well. They are open source as well of course, so help yourself. Also, feel free to ask for help if you need any from the email lists at http://www.sagemath.org/lists.html
