I have tried both a locally compiled firefox (64-bit) and downloaded firefox (32-bit) and when connecting to https://127.0.0.1:8000/ or https://localhost:8000 I receive a blank white screen. However, when running a downloaded seamonkey (32-bit) the sage notebook works well.
I am running on a Linux 2.6.22.10 (64-bit) Gentoo system.
