Easier said than done.  I spent almost all of a Sage Days in Seattle
in March 2011 and almost all of another in December 2011 working on
this.  At the time, simon's scripts were unreadable by gp2c but that
changed.  There are currently a whole lot of open tickets for this
precise issue, so just hold on.

True.  And its author (Mike Ribinstein) was here in Warwick a week
ago, but does not himself use Sage.  The interface was done by a
student of his who is no longer around (Rishikesh, please correct me
if I am wrong and you are reading this!)
