(I posted this on the discussion forum. I don't know which one is the right one to ask this on. Apologies if this is not the appropriate forum.)
I am interested in trying Sage and have a question about the Python that comes with the Sage installation. If this is not the proper forum for this question, would someone please point me to one? Thanks. I currently use Python 2.4 and I am in the middle of a project that I don't want interrupted by dealing with a new installation and any problems that might come up (not uncommon). Does the Sage installation 'step on' or replace or in any way interfere with a currently installed Python and its site packages (e.g. NumPy)? I would hope that it can be done independently of the current installation. I use a Mac Book Pro and a Mac Pro, OS X 10.4. Thanks for any answers or pointers. -- Lou Pecora US Naval Research Lab Washington, DC --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to sage-support@googlegroups.com To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-support URLs: http://sage.math.washington.edu/sage/ and http://sage.scipy.org/sage/ -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
