Thank you for responding. I did not have kdvi installed on my system. It still does the same thing after installing kdvi. As before, I get the message
method return sender=:1.3 -> dest=:1.31 reply_serial=2 whatever that means. I guess I have to figure out a way to let the desktop (Xfce in my case) associate kdvi with this file format. I did not have KDE installed for a long time. I was wondering if there is any way to make sage invoke the correct program.
