Turn around and look at Me
In My eye face to face.
Search for that mirror,
That reflects your face as Mine,
And Mine as yours.
True Devotion,
A simple heart,
And a pure mind.
A soul that loves,
A body that sacrifices,
Makes you " The God " that lives,
As a messenger in His own form.
God's simplicity is His beauty.
Turn around from your sweet sorrows,
And walk towards Me step by step.
Each step will give you an image clearer,
Of Me as you and you as Me.
From: Sai Darshan by Seema Dewan
The human body is a house taken on rent by you from God the Master, the real
owner of the house. The individual soul has rented it and is presently
occupying it. The rent has to be paid in the form of good thoughts, good speech
and good conduct. But, the tenant ignores the owner and doesn't pay the rent.
So, the Master has to compel the man to vacate. He sends ' notices' reminding
him to vacate unless he remits the rent. 'Grey hairs' are the first
intimation; the tenant dyes his hair and pays no heed to the warning. The teeth
fall out, that is the second warning. The tenant goes to a dentist and gets
dentures and ignores this reminder too. The next warning to leave the house is
the cataract in the eye; an operation helps him pass that one by, and glasses
restore his sight. The skin becomes loose and wrinkled. This warning is
unheeded, he resorts to cosmetics. So the owner has to send His emissaries - a
few fatal illnesses - and force him to clear out of the house.
