Georgia Tech, Eckerd, USF and C of C met at the Stewart walker Sailing Center
in Charleston at 8am for an 8:45 start time. Concerns about the beautiful 6-10
northerly dying mid-day led to everyone showing up with the sunrise. Sure
enough, just as the second full round robin was completed the breeze completely
died. The racing was close and it wasn't until the final race (actually the
final run) that the winner was determined. Congrats to the College of
Charleston Cougars for the close victory over USF. Eckerd finished up third
and Georgia Tech fourth.
Thanks to our umpires on call, Brooks Clark, Mac Mace and Ed Norton for their
help in ensuring some great race management and umpiring.
Thanks to dockmasters Jacob Raymond and Ned Goss for readying the Cougars'
J/22's for their final last regatta (new boats arrive starting next week!). And
thanks to all the Cougars for their help in keeping the regatta on pace!
Scoring grid is below.

Reynolds 16
