Hi, Lourdes Convent, LCHS,...roll back the years, almost everything's a blur now.
I have vivid memories of at least two people in that blur.
Ms. Margaret taught us songs, some of which I can remember to this day. 'Out in the Garden', 'The Grand Old Duke of York'.
Mr. Archibald Serrao, a rather forbidding figure, one of the very few male teachers. He used to go 'Yo there' meaning some unfortunate student to stand up & answer. He added a wonderful new word to my vocabulary, 'linear' which I couldn't locate in the text, but had to guess at its meaning for weeks afterwards.
Much more, but as I said, just a blur now.
Cheers, Basil Macarenhas. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--W-E-B--S-I-T-E--=-=-=-=-=-= To Subscribe/Unsubscribe from Saligaonet | http://www.goacom.com/saligao_tinto/ ============================================================================ * Send e=mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (NOT [EMAIL PROTECTED]) * Leave SUBJECT blank <--- Commom Mistake !! * On first line of the BODY of your message, type: subscribe saligaonet YOUR.EMAIL OR unsubscribe saligaonet YOUR.EMAIL Questions/Problems?
