Servers Alive has since a very long time the "connect via" option. The idea was to use DUN (dial-up-networking) to establish a connection to a remote network before doing the actual checks. This can be use to dial-up to something (like in the good old days to dial with a modem into the internet), however this also works when connecting to a VPN (still something that is by default in Windows 10). Is anybody using this? Is this something we should leave in Servers Alive or should we remove it? Dirk.
