Hi Dirk,

Is there a reason why it should be removed ? Security aspect or maintenance of that code perhaps ?
If not, it can just as well be kept.

Kind regards,
Pieter

I have not used it, but I think that would be a good feature to keep. Dialup-VPN connection.  I can see this being used for industrial environments where there is network equipment, but no place to drop a VM or PC for a remote client. SA can dial up into the firewall, make it's checks and drop out.

Servers Alive has since a very long time the “connect via” option.  The idea was to use DUN (dial-up-networking) to establish a connection to a remote network before doing the actual checks.  This can be use to dial-up to something (like in the good old days to dial with a modem into the internet), however this also works when connecting to a VPN (still something that is by default in Windows 10).

Is anybody using this?  Is this something we should leave in Servers Alive or should we remove it?

Dirk.
