Subject: RE: [SA-list] Generic UDP port connection test (BETA)
I must be thick.. I still can't get it to work. I've used another program AAA tools and I SEE the dhcp server, it's port #, ip address and host name. But when I try and check it from Salive, I always see it as down. I've tried <, >, =, <>, <=, => set to 1 or 0 and still see it as down. What am I missing????
THANKS

Try this. This is where the default install puts chkudp.exe
c:\program files\woodstone\udp\chkudp.exe /host=MyServer /port=67 /timeout=25
This is one I use. The object has a timeout of 30 seconds.
Port 67 is DHCP
Hope this helps
