I'm assuming the "Directory" is the directory on the remote machine that I want to check?   When I set up the "External check" within Servers Alive, I put the full path to the CountFiles.exe (C:\Program Files\Salive\External\CountFiles.exe) into the box, is this correct or should this file reside on the remote machine?   As you can tell, I've confused myself terrible on this!  Any assistance would be appreciated!     Thanks Mike
