Go to
http://www.wtcs.org/snmp4tpc/,
browse through the info and get a copy of GetIf. This will let you walk
the SNMP tree for your devices. There are two sites I use to get SNMP info
- http://www.somix.com/support/mib_resources.php and
http://www.mibdepot.com/index.shtml.
Once
you have the OID you want to monitor use Getif to find it and whether or not it
has a value. Not all will actually return values. BackupExec, at
least the last version I looked at, only supports sending traps not
monitoring via OID.
