A few questions: when you installed the new server, is it a member of the same domain that the NT servers are on? Are the false alerts always happening, or do they just happen on and off? If you add a new check for a server, does it fail as well? Have you checked the username/passwords on the check entries? You might try using a different username/password (like the network administrator) to see if it's a security issue.
