If you cut and paste user id, SA often inserts one blank in front of the
user id, and then the check fails.

Do you have leading space in front of userid or password?

OK.

1. PC is a member of the same domain (WinNT domain)
2. Happen just on and off, sometimes only "off" and "on" message didn't come
3. new checks are working ok
4. yes, we have one account only for checking over salive (on servers as
local admin)
5. I can try it, but I want to use one account for every server

A few questions: when you installed the new server, is it a
member of the same domain that the NT servers are on? Are the false
alerts always happening, or do they just happen on and off? If you
add a new check for a server, does it fail as well? Have you checked
the username/passwords on the check entries? You might try using a
different username/password (like the network administrator) to see if
it's a security issue.
