If they are all installed to the same folder, you
could remove the registry entries for
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Servers
Alive v5
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Servers
Alive v4
It would make the list look clean, but not much
else since there is probably overlap of files.

Subject: [SA-list] Old versions still installed? Dirk, I was just looking through one of our ServersAlive servers, and I see that v4, v5 and v5.1 are all installed. Since I just over-installed the new versions, can you clean up the list of the old version from the 'Add-Remove" during an upgrade?
To unsubscribe send a message with UNSUBSCRIBE as subject to salive@woodstone.nu If you use auto-responders (like out-of-the-office messages), then make sure that they are not send to the list nor to the individual members of the list that send a message. Doing this will get you removed from the list. |
