So the outline of the app is:

* External check
* Local or remote registry
* Authentication
* 1 or more registry keys
* 1 or more data types
* Alert if key exists/doesn't exist
* Alert if key value equals/doesn't equal some value
* Allow key value to be corrected on change detected
* Return error value

pass OK or not OK results into SA (external errorlevel check)
you can even setup auto-fix registry values within external check :-)
