Let me just update this some more.

My install of SA takes 10 minutes to complete a check cycle and then waits 2
mins before starting again, while a check cycle is running, the interface is
pretty much non responsive anyway, but changes made are not immediately
reflected.

Because of this I usually stop SA from checking while I’m updating
(because I run checks 2 mins after the last set finishes) so if I want to see
my updates in the interface I realistically only have 2 mins to make any
changes if I want to see these updated properly.

What I need back is the ability to have the interface updating as it used to if
the checking has been stopped, not just in between checks.

No, it doesn’t update until the end of a check cycle. If SA is stopped it
doesn’t update at all. When my complete check cycle takes over 10 minutes
to run and I want to test some new entries this is no help at all.

I want to be able to add and fine tune new entries on the fly and frequently
stop SA while I’m doing this and then restart it at the end. The biggest
problem is that the Check Entry Now function is completely useless with no
immediate interface update. If I change the name of a check, even this is not
being reflected, nor is changing dependencies moving the item to it’s new
location.

This to me is a crazy removal of functionality and should at least have the
option of being enabled if needed. I can’t believe I’m the only one
who uses it this way.

How does everyone else manage adding, modifying and testing new checks?

I’ve just added 3 new checks, which were a copy and slight change of 1
existing check and this would normally have taken a couple of minutes to create
and test and has now taken over 30 minutes.

The interface does not update while in a check cycle. Outside of a checkcycle
it does update.

You don't have to re-load SA

Why is it disabled?

How am I supposed to add new entries and check them when I can’t see the
results until I exit and reload SA and the Check Entry Now function gives no
feedback in the interface at all.

I need this functionality back please at least make it a toggle.

Yes that is what you're seeing.

It's disable and will stay like that

I’ve got a really strange problem with 6.1.2151 & now 6.1.2162

The app normally runs as a service and we update and add checks by clicking in
the icon in the system tray. Just now I tried adding a new check which was a
copy of an existing one and although all the entries for that check are
correct, the interface has not updated it with it’s new title. Also, when
trying to do a Check Now, nothing happens in the interface at all.

I tried restarting all the checks and while I can see them being updated in the
status bar, it’s not marking each item any more. I tried installing the
latest built and see the same thing. The service is not running, just an app
now.

Looking at the change list I see that b2151 no longer updates the interface by
default, is this what I’m seeing? If so how do I enable it?
