We have around 70 virtual machines that we are using with Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 SP1. We use SA to monitor the uptime/availability of those machines since we have users located all around the world that uses those machines. We just do simple PING checks on them for now and we have not encountered any problems with that at all. We also use the HTML output function to list all of them and their states on a webpage that users can access to see if they are up/down/in maintenance mode.

We are "looking" at it to see if it can be usefull to have some checks for it :-) Dirk Bulinckx.
