Question: if I want to monitor a server for memory utilisation, which perfmon
stat is the most appropriate one to use? I'm guessing that "Committed Bytes" is
what I want, but I'd be grateful for confirmation of that. What's the
difference between "committed bytes" and "% committed bytes in use" - is it
simply the units (bytes vs percentage) or is it more than that?

I realise that "memory utilisation" may be an inadequate term to use. What I
want to do is to monitor a server which currently has 10Gb of RAM installed, to
see how much memory it actually needs (because we want to virtualise it).

TIA
