I now have 96 entries in Servers Alive - it's going great but after running it for a week or so, I need to make some adjustments - en masse. I wish to remove all SMTP alerts from all entries, they are pointless in the live environment, they were enabled just for testing. I also wish to alter the SMPP (SMS) alert so I receive an alert when 3 times down instead of 2, and when back up too. Some of the entries have two SMPP alerts (one for up and one for down) instead of it all being configured in one place. Because of this, it may be easier for me to remove all alerts from all entries and then create a new alert for SMPP with the above config, for all entries. Any ideas how to achieve this? I can't see any method within the GUI for this specific change, I have looked at the Global Replace and the Changes Wizard. Are there any Perl parsing scripts or the like which could do this? I was thinking of creating an Auto It script but thought to ask here first, but it would probably be quicker/easier to delete the hosts file and start again. Nicholas Llewellyn P.S. I can't find the url for the archive, I have looked on the website and can't see a link and my browsing history is clean... FD Systems is a limited company registered in England and Wales.
