Admittedly, it was probably 3 years ago ;) I just offered the suggestion as a “more than one way to skin a cat” option. It seemed that Graham was having difficulty with the built-in option. I would have to try and dig out that app. As far as I recall, it was no great shakes as it merely established connection to the modem (Wavecom GSM/GPRS module), and issued an AT+CMGS command. Then just told SA to execute that app with command line options such as message and recipient number. Possibly not the most elegant way of doing it but worked like a charm.
