We have not had that specific problem in awhile now. Although we do have about once a month (just happened yesterday not an hour after reading the email and about to sit down to turkey day) where a handful of pings checks will fail. We have about 1100 checks in our main server and 5 random ping checks failed yesterday. The thing is when this happens Servers alive also stops updating the external web page. So I have a check on the other SA box to see if the webpage has been update and if not in x amount of time reboot the other sa box and problem solved. I will start to look more closely now and pull some logs.

We're running .2317 on a virtualised Windows 2003 Server. 700 checks, about 190 of which are pings. We've never had the problem.
