Ah, I misunderstood. I would check to see if you have the latest drivers for 
the printer and 2003 o/s. Maybe see if there is a firmware update for the 
printer as well. Make sure the patch cable on the printer is in good condition. 
I don’t see an option in SA to check printer shares, or drive shares.

Is the printer going into power saver mode? I would think SA would report a 
failure if it doesn’t get a response from the printer if it is in power 
saver.

I have printer that for some reason keeps losing its sharing settings.  We have 
5 other printers on this print server machine that continue to work but this 
particular printer stops sharing.  These are all shared on a Windows 2003 
server.  Does anyone have any idea how to monitor whether a particular shared 
printer exists.
