You may also need port 445, and possibly only that port. With Windows Vista, 7, 
Server 2008 you can use advanced firewall to create a rule to restrict access 
to those ports to your Servers Alive IP address (via scope restriction). Server 
2003 can also restrict by scope in its firewall settings. 

 

I use Server 2003 and Server 2008 in this manner to check disk space, registry, 
event logs, etc. Be sure to test that it is locked down first, then add your IP 
to ensure you are setting the right entry/scope.

The nt process check uses Netbios.  That uses TCP/UDP 135-137. 

Most firewall admins will refuse to open that on the firewall.
