I am having am issue checking a Windows Media Encoder Stream via the MMS/RTSP check in SA version 6.1 & 6.2
While the encoder is actively broadcasting and working correctly SA consistently reports that the URL is down. I have entered the url a variety of ways as indicated below: mms://livescan.craigmuck.com:8081/ (mms://livescan.craigmuck.com:8081/) mms://livescan.craigmuck.com:8081 (mms://livescan.craigmuck.com:8081/) mms://livescan.craigmuck.com:8081/* (mms://livescan.craigmuck.com:8081/*) All of the above do in fact work as designed when entered via media player 11 or IE 8. SA usually returns a result ERR: Host Disconnected! I am running the stream in “pull from the encoder” mode. Has anyone been able to get this check to work in this type encoder configuration ?
