I’m not an SNMP pro… so…

I can’t seem to read my temperature monitor with Servers Alive.

What do I need to provide to have Servers Alive Monitor an SNMP enabled device?

I have it enabled on the device (an Avtech Room Alert Temperature monitor), I
have SNMP services installed for Window 2003 R2….  I have common
public/private SNMP strings.

I have a MIB for the device… do need to import this into Windows?

Or should I just be able to type the OBJECT-TYPE from the MIB (ie
humidity-index) into Server’s Alive and have it read that?

Thanks,
