Not sure if we are talking about the same. The "Check Entry Now" option was available in previous versions.
It is still in the manual of SA 7.2, page 20. In previous versions (prior to version 2607, I think) any change to the entries file had to be saved (of course) and a restart of the service was necessary. In recent versions, a restart wasn't necessary anymore. Or better, it was done by the GUI application automatically. I assumed that that functionality made it impossible to have the "Check Entry Now" option.
