??? > That aside, if you think my ideas are stupid, please say so but also say > why - I would rather read debates than condescending flame-mail. Didn't I write a quite long e-mail before with many explanations? Didn't I quietly & "successfully" ignored your previous e-mails, which I personally considered very stupid? Should I repost my mail, which was so rude? > I have seen worse on Amiga newsgroups and, frankly, they often put more > reasons in than some I have seen here. Superb. So you know the reasons. Well, one of the reasons, why I didn't react to your very first mail is that I am too lazy to spend (waste) time with so ...... how to call this ...... ideas. Well, I see your ideas like something often seen in teleshoping - you probably could earn a big puch of money on it. Look, your ideas are like a teleshopping, where we can buy "a special spoon which is best than ever, for only 100 pounds." I consider this stupid, and only people who wants to earn some money on people watching TV's can do this. Since you are not going to get money from this, I don't know why you have brought these ideas. Of course, as I said before, almost everything you had presented should work, better or less, but I don't see it worthy of remark. > Please list all ideas that I have that are truly naive so far so I know > what we are refferring to. Lets have a bit of a mature debate about it > rather than wasting bandwidth starting a flame war with someone some of > you clearly view as an outsider. No debate. I have only one life. Especially when you write this, you probably still don't believe your ideas are ..... (no flame wars here) I really hate people like you, who says totally stupid things, and when I don't want to discuss this with you, you say: "So, where are your arguments? Why dion't you describe what and why....." Everything has some limits. e.g. If you give as an idea of cargo trucks made of paper, I said this is stupid and don't discuss it anymore. Or you don't know what the word 'naive' means? Simply said, you offered us a very complicated idea of making a new game and a new computer. Your concepts consist of several very powerful (AMD 600MHz) parts which nobody really needs, as well as very out-dated parts, which need to be done other way (direct hardware access on PC, Sam emulation & system in eprom, making kindy games for Sam). Maybe the truth is that we don't really need anything you offer (childish games, or silly hardware). Of course, the first point can interest some people (making games for Sam), but is this clever? (If it isn't stupd, is is clever?) I am the professional games-programmer and I say: "Make your games for players, not for yourself." And, as I said before, it's better to sell good stuff, than to bring free-of-charge shit. (Not talking about your stuff now, just generally.) I'm sure several people don't agree with what I wrote, but don't you think I stand more on the ground, than Dave? > Having inflamed this nicely I suspect Im going to take a break from this > for a bit. > > Dave Aley
