I've just checked this command with both old and new users smbclient -W $DOMAIN -U $USER //$PDC/$HOME
And the result of both old and new users succeed. I've just added a new Windows XP PC to the domain. The strange thing is: 1. I *can* logon to *new users* on *new* machines, and do whatever I want with the account. 2. I *can* logon to *old users* on *new* machines, but I cannot change desktop settings (like display "My Documents" on desktop). 3. I *cannot* logon to *new users* on *old* machines What should I check?
