socket options = TCP_NODELAY SO_SNDBUF=8192 SO_RCVBUF=8192
line that resolves some problems.

No, TCP_NODELAY is the standard setting for quite a while and setting the buffers to 8K makes them smaller on most systems. And doesn't help.


smbfs is slow. And there is nothing someone can do about it. At least to my knowledge.
