I seemed to have pinpointed the problem down to an authentication issue.
wbinfo -a CPDOM+admin%password
plaintext password authentication succeeded
challenge/reponse password authentication succeeded
su CPDOM+admin
Password:
su: incorrect password
Any ideas?
