Sure. Just set "debug level = 10". Then all new connections will get the higher debuglevel. Alternatively, connect from your client, look at smbstatus output to find "your" smbd pid and issue smbcontrol <smbd-pid> debug 10 to make just that one smbd use that debuglevel. Volker
