Thank you for you help - it appears as if this was the solution for the problem. One
of the DNS servers is not returning results for some reason or other. The confusing
thing is that it is the secondary DNS server that isn't working, not the primary
(configured as secondary in Winnt and Sambar). Anyway I removed it and replaced it
with another and all seems to be working fine. I'll keep a watchful eye on it though
:-)
